Sparring is a full-body workout that will improve your strength and fitness.

In a supportive environment, you will execute exercise and drills for self-defense and combat.
You will learn from skilled instructors where you can put your learnings to the test by practicing defensive moves and attacking with a sparring partner.

Flinn Taekwondo Academy has a long association with Sparring with many of our coaches actively competing in sparring for a number of years. Our coaches are well trained in the different forms of sparring, being at all levels of competition. Our team develop designated programs to ensure our athletes learn all aspects of Taekwondo equally. Sparring is an incredibly important part of Taekwondo as a martial art as it promotes the importance of self control and perserverance.
